Madea's Big Happy family is a whole shabang of fun. The California Chronicle reports that it is a twist of a "variety show and revival meeting".
The set resembles the sets of "All in the Family" and "Mama's Family" and the show draws the audience is with a kind of "Carol Burnett" slapstick skit comedic style.
Tyler Perry is best known for his "Madea" plays and movies of which the starring role of "Madea" is played by himself.
