According t o The Spartacus Blood and Sand season 2 has been postponed or delayed. They have decided to cancel the season 2 due to Andy Whitfield. A month ago Andy Whitfield was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. A report says The Spartacus Blood and Sand season 1 episode 13 was the finale of the 1st season and the second season will be titled Spartacus: Vengeance. But no confirmation has been received yet.
Starz television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand premiered on January 22, 2010 and it’s based on the historical character of Spartacus. In the series Executive producers Robert Tapert and Steven S. DeKnight tried to focus on the events of Spartacus. In the end of last year it was announced that the show was renewed for a second season. This announcement was made even before premiering.
