The American supernatural–fantasy horror television series ‘The Vampire Diaries’ whose jaw dropping finale episode aired on Thursday has raised lot of questions in the viewers mind. But, those questions will be answered when the show will return to your idiot box with its next season.
In February 2010, the CW announced that it will be renewing the show for a second season. The season 2 of The Vampire Diaries’ will be telecasted in September 2010 on the CW. And after last night’s exciting episode it is expected that audience will desperately wait for the show’s second season to hit the television screen soon.
‘The Vampire Diaries’ which is developed by Kevin Williamson is based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith. The supernatural–fantasy horror show is about the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), who falls in love with vampire Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). The series also focuses on the lives of Elena's friends and other inhabitants of the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. The series is a mix of teen drama and the supernatural.
