Danny Aiello III Dead at 53

Danny Aiello III, the 53-year-old son of The Godfather: Part II star Danny Aiello, passed away on May 1, 2010 after struggling with pancreatic cancer. He died at his home in New Jersey, LATimes.com reports.
Aiello followed in his father's footsteps, pursuing a career in film. But instead of acting, he was mostly interested in stunts and directing: He worked as a stuntman for years, in addition to serving as a stunt coordinator.

He was also the stunt double for his father in the film Do the Right Thing, which won the elder Aiello an Academy Award nomination. Needless to say, his father didn't much like watching him perform the dangerous stunts.
